SDREAM NUMBER ONE - dream: it’s the 70s but also the end times, it’s evening and I am next to a jazz-blues club in New York or Chicago in an alleyway or maybe in a tumble-down room in a skyscraper on the brink of collapse or in a war zone in Iraq, I meet a young George W. Bush who had just been there drinking in a bar with his college-days buddies, he must be about almost 20 years old; I, between one lifetime and the next, have just materialized in an old bum in the alley next to the bar where he was drinking and I'm sitting on the sidewalk dressed in rags or something, he seems friendly and comes to sit beside me with a bottle of beer still in his hand or maybe it's a rifle and he is a young soldier taking a break from the shooting spree in Afghanistan, I get what he wants to ask me and and he's really freaked out and stressed about the things I know he's going through, about his family, but he's still young, it's the 70s, he's just a kid and me an old wino, just another old derelict, again, like always, an old bum out in the rain, he's looking at me all upset (about his life as far as I know) and I feel like I'm about to die, or that anyway this old bum's body that I have borrowed for a few minutes from that old drunkard, I, in my beyond-the-grave spirit a couple of years after my demise, body-less, I am sensing that this body I have been inhabiting for the last couple of minutes cannot withstand my presence, but I feel like I have to send him an important message as long as this body keeps holding up, as long as he is young, still has life in his eyes – a bachelor - if not truly sad and disoriented because he knows what's going to happen and all about our lives in a flash he knows but doesn't want to tell me
